Course Outline Learning Outcomes The Boom Truck Simulator Training Pack at Bigfoot Academy offers a structured learning experience from beginner to advanced levels. Our trainees gain skills in: Controls familiarization Deploying outriggers Load handling Hoisting a pole Certification preparation Performance Metrics Instructors track key performance indicators, including: Safety violations Load control Operational efficiency Key Features Advanced simulation technology mimicking hydraulic and machine dynamics. Real-time performance metrics for skill assessment and improvement. Simulated lifting up to 12,901lbs. Simulator Hourly Rental Rates 4 Hours at $95.00 + GST per hour 8+ Hours at $85.00 + GST per hour One time 20% discount on a rigging or hoist course purchase after sim training payment is received. Location The training simulator is housed at Bigfoot Training Center - 2170 Carpenter Street, Abbotsford BC, in a specially designed room with sound dampening, air filtration, climate control and adjustable lighting. Hours can be scheduled between 7:00 am to 4:30 pm. Additional Details: Simulator Training sessions can be combined with classroom theory and hands on practical training. Qualified Supervision Plan for Level B Provisional Certified Operators is available.
