Any Indian festival or religious ceremony is simply incomplete without Sweet Boondi. Boondi or Bundi are tiny, sweet, round balls made with chickpea flour, turmeric (for color), and soaked in sugar syrup. This is considered to be the favorite snack of Lord Hanuman and is often offered as Prasad (In Hinduism, Prasad is a devotional offering to god, later shared by devotees) in temples. While it holds religious significance, it is also very popular in India, Pakistan (Sindh), and Nepal as a sweet. Kids really love this as a snack, and it pairs very well with Bikaneri Bhujia (A savory snack). Weight 200g (approx 10.5 x 4 cm round container) Sweetness Moderate Ingredients Gram Flour, Sugar, Saffron, Almond Slices, Pistachio, Ghee, Turmeric, Dried Rose petals Allergen Contains Milk (or milk-based products), and Tree Nuts Best Before 5-7 Days. It can be consumed even after that, but Boondi becomes dry and it does not taste as good as a fresh box. Notes Divine Bites does not use any artificial ingredients or colors in its products. The actual product color might differ slightly due to the ingredients.
