Undergrowth and ferns beautiful in their own right against the tall timber inside the Boranup Forest. Boranup forest, home to the world's third tallest tree, the karri tree. These giants can tower over the forest floor with up to fifty metres in height and make up a large section of the Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park. The forest floor has always been an extensive mass of ferns, bracken and arum lilies, a magnificent sight to see and a great contrast against the size of the karri trees.
