What we think: We love the banana bread vibe in the opening of Nanatopia! It really does smell like a banana dessert or banana muffin, and not like synthetic banana candy chemicals . The caramel is done in a high quality way, so it doesn't smell cheap and cloying either. The rum adds to the golden caramelized quality, and doesn't get too boozy, so we don't think you need to be a fan of boozy fragrances to enjoy this. There's also a nutty quality here, so to us at times it's very much like a banana nut muffin smell. As it progresses, the banana slips way but a very wheat-like breadiness remains, and a slight earthiness comes out from the cypriol, with a sort of woody amber undertone. Show more
