This is the necessary tool to remove the Bosch chainring spider on the new style (2020+) Bosch Performance CX Gen 4 Bosch eBike systems and also Bosch Active Line bikes featuring t he larger sprocket. This comes in handy if you need to remove the spider / sprocket to gain access to the motor behind for routine maintenance. You will also require the Bosch Crank Puller (for the Gen 4 CX motor) or the smaller Bosch/Yamaha Crank Puller / Removal Tool (for Bosch Active Line Plus). This is for Bosch Performance CX Gen 4 systems produced on/after 2020 and Bosch Active Line/Plus systems (Featuring a big sprocket on the front).
