The Boston Lobsters were charter members of World Team Tennis??(WTT) in 1974, debuting as the Philadelphia Freedoms. In 1975, they landed in New England with their new nickname. Th ey went on to become quite successful both on the court and at the gate. They folded, though, with the rest of the league after the 1978 season. Show more
