A lovely Armenian Tabriz weave wool rug in golden yellow. Boteh Gold Sample was hand-knotted in Armenia of 100% wool using our Tabriz weave, which has a pile height of about 0.28 i nches. The Boteh design is a paisley floral motif and is interpreted in Farsi as "a cluster of leaves". It is a popular pattern in the east and has been used by a variety of people so the meaning behind it is just as varied, it's been called a pear, pine cone, cypress tree, leaf, female parrot, and fig.
