This coalescing element is an equivalent replacement for BOTTARINI part number 223051. It fits the compressed air filter housing the original element was made for and performs the same duty, merging the fine oil and water droplets carried in the air stream into larger drops that fall out of the flow and drain away. Contaminated air is hard on everything downstream of the compressor. Oil carryover fouls desiccant beds, coats the internals of pneumatic valves and cylinders, and ruins finishes in paint and coating work.
