(Please note that some biodegradable products may break more easily and/or experience more paint chipping). Its carbon footprint is smaller than for many traditional plastics. The product is intended for styling, not heavy detangling. Use the brush after the hair has been detangled. Please note that the brush pad has an air hole that is necessary for ventilation. How to care for your brush To delicately clean the brush:1. Remove hair from bristles using your hands or a cleaning comb.2. Spray a cleaner such as alcohol, barbicide (for salons), or Bounce Curl Turmeric Purifying Hair & Scalp Mask.3. Allow disinfectant or cleaner to sit on brush for a maximum of 10 minutes, then rinse.4. Allow brush to completely air dry after.
