This Nuits-St-Georges is harvested from 50+ year old vines. Fully de-stemmed with a long, slow fermentation. Aged in oak (20% new) for 16 months. This is a noble Pinot Noir. Raw and deep, concentrated with cherries, iron and spice. Domaine Robert Chevillon is simply, dollar for dollar, one of the best buys in all of Burgundy. Consistently great year-over-year, the domaine is helmed by fifth generation growers and brothers Denis and Bertrand Chevillon.
