These thrown and hand built bowls are fav forms to work on. Don’t let those unusual glaze effects fool you into not using them. They’re totally utilitarian! In fact they’re easily microwavable and dishwasher safe too! The inspiration behind these creations resulted from hundreds and hundreds of really flowy, drippy, and luscious glaze tests that were developed from years of exploration and no form to use them on. The bowl became the go to because they showed off all the traits exhibited by these glazes. Made of porcelain and fired to about 2200* F in an electric kiln they’re great for trinkets, ice cream, peanuts, noodles and if for display -- eccentrically beautiful to look at. Show more
