These are made with stones from Lake Superior and sterling silver. The silver is oxidized to get the grey color. These stones, along with all the stones in my jewelry, have been fo und by my husband and myself at Lake Superior. We have drilled them but otherwise they are un-altered and untreated. They will absorb some of your oils and deepen in color and take on a beautiful sheen. I try to find fairly thin rocks and I think you will find them to be much lighter than you would expect.Each piece is unique. These earring have 3 rocks each, that are medium grey, brownish and dark grey. They are pinned in a handmade sterling box. The earwires are sterling silver and handmade. This sale is NOT for this item pictured. It will be very similar.
