The A-Frame angles in as it rises, the most traditional profile in the range.The fixing holes are s lotted rather than round, which matters more than it sounds: a solid wood top expands and contracts across the grain through the seasons, and the slots let it move instead of straining against the screws.How long you can go is down to your top, not the legs. A long top in thin ply or MDF will flex between the pair, and that flex is what you feel as a wobble.
