Box Two Top Load 22.2mm Stem 1" Product Overview The Box Two Top Load is a stem designed for BMX racing with standard 22.2mm handlebars and 1" steerer tubes. Cold forged and CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aluminum, it features a top-load clamp design for clean handlebar installation. Available in 40mm and 45mm extension lengths with zero-degree rise. Key Features • Cold forged and CNC-machined construction - Forging process compresses aluminum grain structure for improved strength-to-weight ratio, followed by CNC machining for precise tolerances and weight reduction • Top-load clamp design - Handlebars load from the top with front cap removal, providing clean aesthetics and allowing easier bar installation compared to side-load or front-load designs • 6061-T6 aluminum construction - Heat-treated aluminum alloy balances strength and light weight for durable stem performance • Zero-degree rise - Flat extension places handlebars at stem centerline height for neutral positioning • Compact extension options - 40mm and 45mm lengths accommodate younger riders and tight cockpit setups common in Mini and Junior class racing Technical Specifications • Material: 6061-T6 aluminum• Steerer tube clamp: 1" (25.4mm)• Handlebar clamp diameter: 22.2mm (standard)• Clamp type: Top-load• Rise: 0 degrees• Extension lengths: 40mm or 45mm• Weight (±5%): 40mm: 138 g (4.9 oz) 45mm: 148 g (5.2 oz)• Stack bolt: M6×18L (P1.0)• Clamp bolt: M6×18L (P1.0)• Design/Manufacturing: Designed in USA, Made in Taiwan Compatibility and Ideal Use Cases Designed for BMX race bikes with 1" steerer tubes and standard 22.2mm handlebars. Best suited for Mini and Junior class racing where shorter extension lengths match younger riders' proportions and reduce overall cockpit reach. The top-load design simplifies handlebar installation and provides clean visual appearance. Zero-degree rise offers neutral bar positioning, suitable for riders who achieve proper handlebar height through spacer stack or fork selection. Not compatible with 1-1/8" steerer tubes, tapered steerers, or 31.8mm oversize handlebars. Note: US orders ship direct from manufacturer and may arrive separately from other items.
