The sidecut version of the BR adds this slight in cut to the outline, narrowing the surface area around the back foot and accentuating the hips at the same time. The main advantage to this is that rail to rail transitions become easier having been loosened up from it's wide tail. Hips now really liven the board up, giving a pivot point which makes a huge difference when surfing your backhand. Extremely playful as usual but with a little extra energy and freeness, allowing tighter turning arcs and a more responsive feeling board. Especially fun when pair with a set of upright twin fins.
