BRACHYCHITON RUPESTRIS ‘Bottle Tree’ - 10x Seeds Ideal sowing temp: 18-22C Position: Loves a sunny spot once transplanted Preparation: Soak in boiling water for 30 seconds and then in lukewarm water overnight. Re-treat any seeds that have not swollen before sowing. Sowing: 5mm deep. Warm, shaded or semi-shaded; We use plastic trays with domes fitted ($9 from bunnings) Care: Keep moist but not wet. Ensure soil doesn’t dry out completely while in the early stages of germination. Sprouting: You will see your seeds starting to sprout within 10-21 days. Endemic to Queensland and deciduous in cooler climates. A very hardy, small to medium sized tree to 15m. Yellowish bell-shaped flower clusters followed by seed capsules which contain large seeds. Will grow in any container + drought and frost tolerant.
