Brady 65402 Blocking Arm for Small Universal Valve Lockouts Rugged, Reliable Mechanical Energy Isolation for Ultimate Workplace Safety. Performing critical maintenance or emergency repairs on high-pressure mechanical valves requires absolute certainty that the energy source is fully isolated and cannot be accidentally re-engaged. The Brady 65402 Blocking Arm is an essential, highly versatile Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) accessory specifically engineered to secure mechanical valves in the "OFF" position. By physically blocking the valve handle from being turned, this critical safety device ensures that hazardous energy remains completely controlled, protecting your maintenance technicians from severe mechanical risks and sudden, catastrophic machinery startups. Industrial environments push safety equipment to its absolute limits, demanding materials that will not degrade under heavy abuse. The Brady 65402 is meticulously manufactured from premium glass-reinforced nylon (Material LOTO-24), often reinforced with industrial-grade steel components. This highly advanced composite construction delivers exceptional resistance against harsh industrial chemicals, corrosive solvents, and severe mechanical impacts. Despite its incredibly robust build, the blocking arm remains remarkably lightweight and exceptionally easy for personnel to handle, allowing for rapid deployment during time-sensitive emergency shutdowns or routine facility maintenance. To ensure it can survive the most unforgiving industrial conditions, this LOTO blocking arm is engineered with an exceptionally broad service temperature range, remaining structurally sound from a freezing -4°F all the way up to a blistering 250°F. Coated in a highly visible, universal safety red, it provides an immediate, clear visual warning to all passing operators that the valve is actively locked out. Designed specifically for seamless integration with Small Universal Valve Lockouts, the Brady 65402 Blocking Arm is a vital, uncompromising upgrade to your facility's hazard control and mechanical compliance protocols.
