This original surreal stencil artwork by Melbourne artist Geoff Cunningham blends imagination, bold colour and humour. I thought of the title first for this piece after seeing digital devices being used as baby-sitters in cafes and restaurants. ‘Brainwashing Machines’ is a painting I’ve done several versions of over the years but the message still remains relevant - digital devices dominate our lives (myself included), and it is an addiction that can be hard to break.
