The Brainee Star reading journey grows with your child through carefully curated quarterly boxes designed for kindergarten through 3rd grade reading skill levels. Each box contains 5-6 engaging, screen-free activities that build essential reading skills through fun, 15-20 minute daily sessions with your child. New boxes will arrive every three months. Early Literacy: Master essential pre-reading skills like shape recognition, sorting, matching, and early letter identification Phonemic Awareness: Develop crucial sound awareness through activities focused on syllables, rhyming, and sound manipulation Phonics: Connect letters with sounds, build words, and gain reading confidence through hands-on games and activities Vocabulary: Define words in context, use context clues, analyze word parts, semantic mapping, awareness and interest in words, root words/prefixes/suffixes Fluency: Ability to read words accurately with correct rate and prosody (expression). Comprehension: The ultimate goal of reading! Students will be able to use prior knowledge, predict, identify main idea, summarize, develop questions, make inferences and visualize.
