I have many happy memories of blackberry picking. This design celebrates the voracious, thorny plant rather than the fruits, inspired by the way they take over in countryside and u rban areas alike. I love the bramble-filled garden of my downstairs neighbour, which provides a home for a colony of dunnocks, and a family of foxes. Original artwork drawn in ink.
