Named after the Brandywine River in Chester County, Pennsylvania, the Red Brandywine tomato is an Amish heirloom that produces excellent yields of red, juicy slicing tomatoes. Heal thy, potato-leaved plants produce heavily and consistently throughout the growing season. Brandywine red tomatoes average 10 to 16 ounces each and have an outstanding, old-fashioned flavor.
