The brass can handle it, the crystal cant! As with copper certain wearers may develop a green tinge on their skin, this is harmless and a natural characteristic, it washes away. I usually turn my brass a little dull after multiple wears so I give it a wash with “Earth Choice dishwashing detergent and warm water. If the weather causes oxidisation or you haven’t cleaned yours for a while, my favourite go to is lemon juice. Avoid the crystal at all costs! Soak the brass in juice and it will be shiny and glistening after around 5-10 minutes. Rinse thoroughly in warm water and it’s ready to wear. So what’s so good about brass you ask? it’s protective.
