It is commonly used in laboratories performing ASTM and other standardized sieve analyses of soils, sediments, pigments, powders, pharmaceuticals, food products, minerals, and other granular materials. The polished brass construction provides excellent durability and corrosion resistance, while the 1-inch depth offers ample capacity for collecting screened material. The SP3-1 is designed to work with matching SC-3 Brass Sieve Covers and standard 3-inch test sieves to form a complete laboratory sieve assembly.
