⬛⬜⬛⬜ THE MOC ⬜⬛⬜⬛This is my last design dedicated to the city of Bratislava, Slovakia. I might do some more in the future but I covered the main monuments, landmarks and buildings in the past two weeks. For this micro-scaled design of the Bratislava Castle, I focused mainly on recreating the principal building and its inner courtyard. Its origins date back to the 9th century, though the site was inhabited since the Stone Age. The castle became a key political and royal seat of the Kingdom of Hungary, serving as a residence for Hungarian kings and later Empress Maria Theresa in the 18th century. It was later renovated in the 20th and 21s centuries to accommodate the Slovak National Museum.
