Wall clocks tend to be either ornate or overly utilitarian. Braun's BC17 lands right in the middle. It has an easy-to-read dial layout with light san-serif numbers set against a da rk background. Its hands are powered by a quartz movement, including the yellow-tipped second hand that silently sweeps across the clock face, tick-free.
