It perfectly complements the tweeter GL1 and mid-woofer GL6, making it ideal for extraordinary three-way system configurations. Its lively, dynamic sound and broad frequency range deliver an outstanding acoustic experience. MicroSphere – Material for Maximum Acoustic Precision At the heart of the GL3 is its exceptionally light paper cone with a modified MicroSphere coating. This patented technology embeds ceramic micro hollow spheres, each only 75 μm in diameter, in a polyamide layer applied to the cone. The result is precise, detailed sound reproduction that blends seamlessly with other GRAPHIC series speakers. State-of-the-Art Technology The cone is driven by a highly linear neodymium magnet system housed in an aerodynamically optimized die-cast aluminum basket. Perfect ventilation of the long-stroke voice coil ensures excellent thermal stability and prevents compression effects. The soft rubber surround supports a very low resonance frequency, enabling lower crossover frequencies—ideal for fully active systems.
