The ultra-lightweight, fine-meshed silk dome features a visco-elastic Acronal coating on both sides, delivering brilliant and smooth treble response. Additionally, the integration of pure lamb’s wool and a dampened coupling volume allows for a very low resonance frequency and deep acoustic coupling. In true BRAX fashion, the elegant design reveals intelligent engineering: a two-part CNC-machined stainless steel housing ensures maximum heat dissipation; the ultra-precise, 8-times ventilated neodymium magnet generates optimal magnetic flux linearity; and integrated 24-carat gold-plated terminals offer maximum conductivity. The threaded body and solid mounting ring on the rear provide a discreet, secure installation without visible fasteners. A protective grille shields the delicate dome, rounding out a tweeter that stands in a class of its own. Each speaker set is hand-selected and paired for perfect tonal matching, and each pair receives a unique serial number recorded in a service database.
