MicroSphere – Balancing Stiffness and Damping Achieving maximum cone stiffness along with high internal damping may seem impossible—but the unique MicroSphere coating makes it real. Ceramic micro-hollow spheres, only 75 microns in diameter, are embedded in a polymer layer applied to the diaphragm, delivering unmatched acoustic precision and sound quality. Timeless Elegance BRAX products are known for their clear and minimalist design language, and the ML8 SUB follows this philosophy flawlessly. The finest materials are highlighted by the optionally available MR8 stainless steel ring, usable as a mounting ring or grille retainer depending on installation.
