PLANT CARE Watering- Philo Brasil is extremely intolerant to overwatering and should never be left in soggy soil. We recommend allowing the top 2 to 3 inches of soil to dry between waterings. Sunlight-In order to maintain its variegation, Philodendron Brasil needs bright, indirect light. Low light conditions will cause the plant to become leggy and revert back to its green state. Soil- We recommend a chunky, well draining soil which contains a mixture of perlite and/or orchid bark. Any potting soil will work as long as it is properly amended.
