A nice first printing of the original 1977 oversize hardcover collection published by Belier Press. "Breakdowns: From Maus to Now. An anthology of strips by Art Spiegelman." Avante Garde co-mix 1972-1977. Scarce.The publisher states: "The most expensive title is Breakdowns (by Art Spiegelman), of which only 1,677 copies were bound. Regrettably, the book was a Commercial Failure; only 1,227 copies were Sold, including 108 to the Author. In the Spring of 1980, the Balance of the Edition (450 copies) was given to A.S." Show more
