In June of 2008 Judy and I traveled with friends Kent and Debi Miller to France for the 24 Hours of LeMans. The week prior to the race, we toured Paris where I took hundreds of pho tographs for a Paris street cafe series. “Breakfast in Paris” is the first watercolor of this series and, I think, one of the best paintings I’ve ever completed. The strong morning shadows, customers at the sidewalk cafe, and my wife walking our Schnauzer Zora in the lower right hand corner all work to create a typical Paris morning. Show more
