An original oil painting of the waves breaking against the rocky shoreline on a late summer afternoon at Bracelet Bay in Mumbles, Wales. This painting brings me back to one of the first places I began to paint, and, over half a decade later, I find I'm better able to express the colours of the area; the addition of raw umber to my palette helps so much with the very subtle greys of the rocks.
