Widely used in both handmade and commercial soaps. *Safflower Oil* A lightweight, gentle moisturizing oil that helps soften dry skin. Mild and non-comedogenic. *Vegetable Glycerin* A natural humectant that draws moisture into the skin, helping prevent dryness and keep skin hydrated. *Goat’s Milk* Adds creaminess along with naturally occurring vitamins and nutrients. Often used in products made for sensitive or dry skin. *Purified Water* Filtered water used during the soap-making process. Completely harmless and necessary for creating the soap base. *Sodium Hydroxide (Lye)* Used only during saponification — the process that turns oils into soap. Some ingredient names may sound intimidating, but they are widely used in skincare and cosmetic products and are considered safe when properly formulated. For example, sodium hydroxide (lye) is fully neutralized during the soap-making process and does not remain active in the finished bar.
