Brer Rabbit also known as 'Brother Rabbit' was inspired by a 17th-century Italian silk and first registered for fabric production in 1882. The pattern's characteristically cheeky b unnies are based on the Uncle Remus children's books popular in the 19th century. The wallpaper has been reproduced from the original fabric in two bluish colourways.
