The model has a size 59cm (23”) head and is wearing a L sizes beanie. The pattern requires 5mm (US 8) circular needles and 10ply/worsted weight yarn. The pattern was written using Fiddlestick’s Peppin 10 yarn but you can easily substitute this yarn for an alternative. Please remember that if you can’t source the yarn that is recommended then try to find a yarn with a similar tension gauge. The tension gauge is the most important part when ensuring your completed beanie is the same as what you see in the pictures.
