This Submariner is a unique classic featuring a stainless steel frame (main triangle). This was Bridgestone’s ultimate touring bike in the late 70s.Allthough it’s a bit on the heavy side it suits the relaxed geometry and carrying capacity, with front and rear bag carriers. The original bag carrier on the back is collapsible and the seatpost is a unique quil-style seat post - also made from stainless steel.Upgrades include modern double-walled aluminium wheelset which is stronger and lighter and allows for a 9 speed drivetrain to be paired with the original Suntour friction shifting for superb commuter/touring riding with extra gearing.
