Targeted Treatment for Dark Spots & Hyperpigmentation BRIGHT Pigment-Lightening TouchStick is a targeted skin-brightening treatment formulated to help improve the appearance of dark spots, uneven pigmentation, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation and discoloration associated with healing scars. Developed as part of the MSMD SkinTherapy collection by Matthew Schulman, MD, a board-certified plastic surgeon in New York City, BRIGHT combines pigment-targeting and exfoliating ingredients in an easy-to-use TouchStick for precise application exactly where you need it. What Is BRIGHT Used For? BRIGHT is designed for targeted areas of unwanted pigmentation, including: Dark spots and areas of hyperpigmentation Discoloration associated with healing surgical or traumatic scars Post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation following pimples and breakouts Uneven skin tone Melasma Its TouchStick applicator makes it particularly convenient for treating small, specific areas without applying product to the surrounding skin. Active Ingredients Arbutin — commonly used in skin-brightening formulations to help improve the appearance of uneven pigmentation. Retinoic Acid — promotes skin cell turnover and helps improve the appearance of irregular pigmentation. Salicylic Acid — provides exfoliation to help improve skin texture and uneven tone. How to Use BRIGHT Apply BRIGHT directly to the affected area once daily, avoiding the eyes and other sensitive areas. As your skin tolerates the product, use may gradually be increased to twice daily. Because BRIGHT contains active ingredients, discontinue or reduce use if significant irritation develops and follow the instructions provided by your healthcare professional. BRIGHT for Surgical Scar Discoloration Healing scars can develop temporary dark or uneven pigmentation. BRIGHT can be incorporated into a scar-care routine to target this discoloration. For patients concerned about both scar texture and scar discoloration, BRIGHT can be alternated with FADE Silicone Scar Gel, our 100% medical-grade silicone scar treatment. Want both? Save with the Scar Reducing Duo, which combines BRIGHT and FADE into one scar-care regimen. Learn More About Surgical Scar Care Want to learn more about caring for scars after surgery?
