MicroBacter7 Dosing Directions for New and Established Aquariums Shake well before use. Mix the appropriate dose with 250 ml or about 8 fl. oz. of aquarium water in a clean container before adding to the aquarium. Best results are often achieved by adding the mixture to external biological filtration when applicable. Do not add to pump intake ports. Turn protein skimming and UV sterilization off for 4 hours after dosing. For medium- to high-nutrient systems or new aquarium seeding, dose 5 ml per 25 US gallons daily for the first two weeks, then switch to low-nutrient maintenance dosing.
