It is used with Reef Code B as part of a balanced two-part supplementation routine. Recommended calcium range: 412 to 450 ppm. Each 1 ml increases calcium in 1 US gallon by approximately 16 ppm. Guaranteed analysis: Calcium 60,000 ppm minimum, magnesium 1,500 ppm minimum, and strontium 1,200 ppm minimum. Magnesium should be maintained between 1,290 and 1,320 ppm for best calcium and carbonate stability. Reef Code A Maintenance Dosing Directions Shake well before use. Dose 5 ml per 25 US gallons every other day, or as needed based on calcium testing. Use an accurate calcium test kit to determine actual aquarium demand. Do not mix Reef Code A and Reef Code B in the same container, and allow at least 60 seconds between dosing the two parts. If calcium is below 412 ppm, Brightwell's maximum correction rate is 5 ml per 10 US gallons daily until the desired level is reached.
