Brightwell Aquatics Reef Code A - 500ml Brightwell Aquatics Reef Code A - 500ml is the calcium-bearing component of Brightwell's two-part calcium and alkalinity system for marine fish and reef aquariums. It is designed to be used with Reef Code B to simplify calcium and carbonate maintenance. Brightwell Reef Code A Calcium Component for Two-Part Reef Dosing Reef Code A supplies calcium along with magnesium and strontium in a liquid formula for reef aquariums with calcifying livestock. When used in equal amounts with Reef Code B, it adds calcium and carbonates in the same ratio found in natural seawater, although individual aquariums may require unequal dosing after testing. Reef Code A 500ml Calcium Support Features Calcium-bearing component of a two-part reef dosing method. Ionically balanced with Reef Code B when used in equal amounts. Supports corals, clams, calcareous algae, and other reef-building organisms. Simplifies calcium and alkalinity maintenance in marine aquariums. Stronger than many competing two-part products. Contains no phosphate, silicate, or organic material. Brightwell Reef Code A 500ml Analysis and Chemistry Notes Size: 500 ml bottle. Use: Marine fish and reef aquariums. Product type: Liquid calcium component for two-part reef dosing. Target calcium range: 412 to 450 ppm. Each 1 ml increases calcium in 1 US gallon by approximately 16 ppm. Guaranteed analysis: Calcium 60,000 ppm minimum, magnesium 1,500 ppm minimum, and strontium 1,200 ppm minimum. Ingredients: Purified water, calcium chloride, magnesium sulfate, strontium chloride, and magnesium chloride. Reef Code A Dosing Directions Shake well before use. Add 5 ml per 25 US gallons every other day, or as needed to maintain calcium between 412 and 450 ppm. For best results, adjust and maintain magnesium between 1,290 and 1,320 ppm before using calcium and alkalinity products. Do not mix Reef Code A and Reef Code B in the same container because active components will precipitate; allow at least 60 seconds between dosing each part. If calcium is below 412 ppm, do not exceed 5 ml per 10 US gallons daily until the desired calcium level is reached. What's Included One 500 ml bottle of Brightwell Aquatics Reef Code A.
