Brightwell Aquatics Reef Code B - 2 Litre Brightwell Aquatics Reef Code B - 2 Litre is the larger-size alkalinity component of Brightwell's two-part calcium and alkalinity system for marine and reef aquariums. It is suited to established reef systems with ongoing carbonate demand from corals, clams, coralline algae, and other calcifying organisms. Brightwell Reef Code B 2 Litre for Larger Reef Alkalinity Demand The 2 Litre format is useful for larger aquariums, regular dosing schedules, and reef systems where alkalinity is consumed steadily. Used with Reef Code A, it helps simplify calcium and alkalinity maintenance while allowing each part to be adjusted independently based on actual test results. Reef Code B Two-Part Buffering Benefits for Reef Aquariums Provides the alkalinity-bearing part of a two-part reef dosing program. Helps maintain carbonate hardness and stable pH conditions. Supports reef-building organisms that rely on stable calcium and alkalinity chemistry. Ionically balanced with Reef Code A when equal amounts are used. Allows independent adjustment when calcium and alkalinity demand are not equal. Free of phosphate, silicate, and organic material. Brightwell Reef Code B 2 Litre Testing and Formula Details Size: 2 Litre bottle. Use: Marine fish and reef aquariums. Product type: Liquid alkalinity and buffering component for two-part reef dosing. Target alkalinity range: 7 to 12 dKH. Each 1 ml raises alkalinity in 1 US gallon by approximately 2.22 dKH or 0.79 meq/L. Guaranteed analysis: Alkalinity or buffering capacity minimum 8,400 dKH or 3,000 meq/L. Ingredients: Purified water, inorganic carbonate, bicarbonate, sulfate, and borate salts with minor and trace minerals. Reef Code B Maintenance Dosing Directions Shake well before using. Dose 5 ml per 25 US gallons every other day, or as needed according to alkalinity testing. For best control, measure alkalinity at the same time each day over one to two weeks to determine daily consumption, then dose daily or weekly as needed. If alkalinity is below 7 dKH or 2.5 meq/L, Brightwell's maximum correction rate is 5 ml per 10 US gallons daily until the desired level is reached. Do not mix Reef Code A and Reef Code B together, and allow at least 60 seconds between dosing the two parts. What's Included One 2 Litre bottle of Brightwell Aquatics Reef Code B.
