Over time, this combination helps reduce the presence of unwanted nutrients that contribute to cloudy water, unwanted algae, and poor water conditions. Designed for use in reactors, sumps, or filters, Katalyst supports consistent biological activity for healthier water and happier aquarium life. Whether you keep a reef, planted, or community tank, Katalyst helps maintain the right nutrient balance and provides long-term results.DIRECTIONS Place Katalyst in a reactor, filter, or sump with moderate water flow. Use a pre-filter to block large particles from entering. Ensure good aeration and oxygen exchange at all times. Use 1g of Katalyst per 2 gallons for low-nutrient tanks. Double the amount for tanks with higher nitrate or phosphate. Dose MicroBacter7 daily for the first 4 weeks to seed media. Expect results after 4 weeks of continuous use. Reduce MicroBacter7 dose when nutrient levels drop. Replace media as needed—typically after several months. Maintain a protein skimmer in marine tanks for best results.
