Hahnemühle's Bristol Board is the proper smooth-finish drawing surface - bright white, high-density, machine-finished to a hot-pressed feel that takes a clean line without any toot h getting in the way of fine detail. Glued pad in A4 at 250gsm. Designed for fineliner, ink, marker, and graphite - the high density keeps marker bleed minimal even with alcohol-based pens, and the hot-pressed surface won't fray fine pen tips.
