A highly unusual and distinctive example of the standard four-pocket Model 22 tunic, a direct successor to the WWI 1902 pattern but featuring a single seam below the collar instead of two. This large-sized tunic is adorned with a remarkable set of Grenadier Guards insignia. All buttons bear the Grenadier Guards regimental design. Each shoulder board is decorated with the Grenadier Guards cap badge, accompanied by the letters ‘GG’ beneath. The sleeves feature the large and impressive Regimental Sergeant Major arm badges, each bearing the King’s crown. One badge has a single moth hole near the edge, with a few minor moth nips elsewhere on the tunic, though overall condition remains good. The interior canvas lining is marked ‘0’ over ‘WD’ over ‘593’. Individually, these regimental badges are valued at £100 each, reflecting their rarity and fine condition. Ref; 92684 XJW Show more
