A heavy bull sculpture of an American Bison. The bull has been polished lightly to reveal a subtle golden hide. The bronze American bison bull sculpture is a robust statue that wei ghs up to 4.5kg, making the statue very dense. The bronze bull has been handmade by our Indonesian craftsmen with much care and attention to detail. Bulls epitomise masculinity in the animal kingdom, symbolising strength and power in both their physical and spiritual presence. The symbolic nature of a bull’s strength is not only physical but also mental and emotional. MATERIAL Made from up-cycled metals, such as pipelines and other parts. Leftover materials are put in an oven with temperatures so high that they melt to create the raw material, which are used again for bronze sculptures. As bronze is a very eco- and labour- intensive material to mine, it makes much more sense to reuse the material that has already been created than to extract it again.
