Everything you need to complete a traditional interlocking bronze threshold installation on one door — threshold, J-hook, and all hardware included. Kit includes: Solid bronze floor threshold (your selected length) Interlocking J-hook for the bottom of the door Stainless steel ring-shank nails for J-hook attachment Brass screws for threshold mounting How it works: The threshold mounts to the floor surface and the J-hook attaches to the bottom of the door. When the door closes, the J-hook interlocks with the threshold to create a tight weather seal. Both pieces are sized to match — order the same length for each. Available lengths: 37″, 43″, 49″, 61″, and 73″. Select the stock length that is equal to or longer than your door width. Mounting holes are pre-drilled approximately every 10 inches. Cutting & fitting: Both the threshold and J-hook can be cut to length on-site using a hacksaw, jigsaw, chop saw, or cut-off tool. A fine-tooth metal-cutting blade gives the cleanest result. Alternatively, select the Custom cut to exact length (+$20) option and we will cut both pieces to your specified finished length before shipping — allow approximately 3 days additional preparation time. Material & finish: Solid, unfinished bronze. Minor surface variations, marks, and light scratches are natural characteristics of the material. Bronze will darken and develop a patina over time. Use a Scotch-Brite pad to achieve a satin finish quickly if desired.
