This lovely pin is cast bronze with a hand patina finish Accented with 22k white gold leaf and an Austrian Crystal center set in 24k gold. Edelweiss is the national flower of Austr ia and a symbol of the Alps. This flower has significant meaning in history, and also in the classic movie The Sound of Music. Michael Michaud collaborated with actress Angela Cartwright, who portrayed Brigitta von Trapp in the movie - this collection was created for the 60th Anniversary of The Sound of Music.
