Founded in 1845 by Arthur Brooke in Yorkshire England the Brooke Bond tea company became one of the largest tea manufacturers in the world; it launched its famous PG Tips brand in 1930 and created its popular illustrated card series in 1954; after merging with Liebig in 1968 to become Brooke Bond Liebig, it was acquired by Unilever in 1984 and the Brooke Bond tea brand was relaunched in 2019. The company's Edglets Tea brand was acquired by the Bell Tea Company in 1969. Large size. Good condition, restored tears, restored folds, staining, backed on linen.
