The Brooke footbed thong is designed on a sacchetto construction in butter-soft Napa; it drapes effortlessly across the foot, while the spool-shaped heel provides perfect balance. The upper features an open-back, slip-on design with a wide, loosely draped and gathered black, caramel or clementine leather shroud that wraps over the midfoot. This draped leather comes to a gathered point at the center, secured by a narrow black leather knot or loop. Extending from this central knot is a thin thong-style strap that anchors between the first two toes. A secondary, flat leather strap crosses straight over the lower instep just behind the open toe area. The interior of the upper shroud is lined with smooth, leather. The shoe features a matching black leather padded insole with the brand name KELLEY KOUTURE printed vertically in clean white block text on the heel bed. The heel is a distinctive, glossy architectural stiletto with a dramatic, fluid hourglass or teardrop shape that is thickest at the base, tapers sharply in the middle, and flares out again at the top.
