The Brooks Hyperion Elite 2 is ready to race. Brooks powered the Hyperion Elite 2 with an updated DNA Flash midsole. The nitrogen-infused cushion maintains an ultralight weight but delivers big energy return and improved durability, so you get a longer lifespan—Brooks says the shoe will stand up to 200-400 miles. Designers also added an extra 2 mm of stack height compared to the first version of the shoe. Additional energy savings come from the broad midsole and Brooks’ uniquely shaped carbon-fiber plate. The plate increases the shoe’s propulsive feel and works with the midsole to keep runners in their bodies’ preferred motion path. Brooks also carved the midsole into its Rapid Roll shape for effortless transitions. With a lightweight, breathable upper for a secure and comfortable fit, the Brooks Hyperion Elite 2 gives you the unbeatable speed of a premium marathon shoe with the durability of an everyday trainer. [NOTE: The Brooks Hyperion Elite 2 is a unisex-sized shoe. Men's sizes are shown; women should order 1.5 sizes below their standard running shoe size. For example: for a women's size 9.5 shoe, order a size 8.] Tech specs Brooks Hyperion Elite 2 Weight 7.6 oz (unisex) Midsole DNA Flash Plate Carbon fiber Category Neutral Use Race Lifespan 200-400 miles
